Helen Tarrant was born in Beijing, China in 1981 and moved to Sydney with her parents in 1988. Growing up, Helen changed schools nine times. While sitting her higher school certificate, Helen worked three jobs so she could help her parents make ends meet.

Helen completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree at Macquarie University and then a Bachelor of Laws at Western Sydney University. She subsequently completed a Master of Laws at the Australian National University in 2012.

While at Law School, Helen started a beauty salon. She expanded her beauty business to three salons before moving on to running her own Registered Training Organisation and teaching the Diploma of Beauty Therapy. While Helen was running her beauty business, she researched and learnt about how to profit from commercial property investment.

Along with her husband, Helen bought her first commercial property in Sydney in 2012 for $360,000. They have now grown their portfolio to over 20 commercial properties.

Through her investments, Helen realised how many everyday mums and dads are interested in purchasing commercial property but are hindered by a lack of knowledge and professional guidance. As a result, Helen launched her Commercial Property Cash Flow course in October 2016. Speaking all over Australia, Helen has now reached thousands of people, educating them on how to invest in commercial property with security and confidence.

Helen Tarrant is a regular on Sky News Real Estate. She has been featured in Australian Property Investor and interviewed on multiple podcasts.

Helen lives on the north shore of Sydney with her husband and her son. When she is not working, she loves to travel and spend time with her family.
